Since opening our specialty shop in Southwest London (near the foot of Richmond Bridge), the realale.com business has become well established locally and is becoming known nation-wide.
In both our shop and online you will find a carefully selected range of real ales, ciders and perries all produced by British micro-breweries.
These beverages are produced by enthusiasts who are concerned more with quality than quantity.
As such most of them are produced without artificial additives and as well as having an interesting range of colour, consistency, alcoholic content and taste, they are also 'easy on the constitution'.
We can offer guidance to those who are interested in matching ales to different cuisines.
Our aim is to supply the aficionado with ready access to a wide range of ales from around Britain and to introduce others to flavours that are subtle but easily appreciated.
We source all our ales directly form the micro-breweries, ensuring that they are of the highest possible quality and standard.
If you are unable to visit our shop, then we have a 48 hour Mainland Britain delivery charge of £6.50 for 12 bottles, (each additional 12 bottles costing only £1.50 extra in shipping).
We also have a Gift List function; a facility that allows you to select ales you wish people to buy for you, (for example your Birthday or Christmas) - this is like a wedding list.
Our interest in promoting interest in real ales is underpinned by a regular newsletter to registered customers, regular tasting events in our shop or, by special request, at private functions as well as a calendar on our website (www.realale.com) which gives details of functions to do with real ale around the country.
