Negus
600ml (1 pint) Port
600ml (1 pint) Boiling Water
85g (3oz) Sugar Cubes
1 Lemon
¼ Small Nutmeg
1 Vanilla pod
Rub sugar on rind of lemon until all zest is extracted.
Crush in basin and pour over the port and boiling water.
Add nutmeg and vanilla.
Allow to stand for a few minutes.
Serve hot.
