Creamed Eggs
340ml (12floz) Milk
6 Hard-Boiled Eggs
6 Slices Toast
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Flour
½ tsp Salt
Paprika, to taste
Heat the milk
Put the butter in a saucepan and heat it until it is light brown.
Add the flour, salt and paprika to the melted butter and mix thoroughly.
Pour over the hot milk and stir the mixture constantly until the sauce becomes smooth and thick.
Cut the hard-boiled eggs into halves while they are hot and place two halves with the cut sides down on each piece of toast.
Pour the white sauce over all, sprinkle with paprika and serve.
