One of the key aims of this site is to promote local foods and its producers.
Why buy food that has travelled half way around the world, when you can buy local produce in season and know its as fresh as it can be?
We have some excellent regional food suppliers through-out the country, our aim is to help you find some of them.
You can either by directly from them, or visit a local Farmers Market where you can choose from a wide range of produce, supplied by the people who have grown or produced it.
The new Product Finder now allows you to find suppliers who offer a mail order service.

There is a large collection of English recipes, Irish recipes, Scottish recipes and Welsh recipes, all organised into sections to help you find the dish you are looking for.
Including many classic dishes such as Welsh Rarebit, Beef Wellington and Spotted Dick.
There is also a historic recipes section as well, containing dishes from the Roman and Medieval periods. Roman Seafood Stew, Medieval Sage Chicken and Medieval Gooseberry Fool
