Edinburgh Fog
Serves 6
600ml (1 pint) Double Cream
110g (4oz) Blanched Almonds, chopped
16-24 Small Ratafia Biscuits
6 tbsp Scotch Whisky
2 tbsp Caster Sugar
Vanilla Essence - a few drops
Whip the cream until stiff
Fold in the sugar, whisky and vanilla essence.
Add the biscuits and almonds.
Chill well before serving.
