Honey Spiced Pears
1 x 410g (14½ oz) Tin Pears
2 Eggs
450 ml (¾ pint) Custard
50g (2 oz) Clear Honey
50g (2 oz) Plain Flour
25g (1 oz) Brown sugar
½ tsp Ground Mixed Spice
Place the drained pears in an ovenproof dish.
Whisk together the eggs, sugar and half of the honey until thick and creamy.
Fold in the flour and spice, pour over the pears.
Bake at 180°C; 350°F; Gas 4 for 40 minutes.
Heat the custard, stirring well, not allowing it to boil .
Stir in the remaining honey, pour over cooked pears and serve .
