London Syllabub
600ml (1 pint) Double or Whipping Cream
300ml (½ pint) Madeira or Marsala Wine
1 tbsp Caster sugar
Pinch Nutmeg
Whisk the cream until stiff, but do not over whisk.
Mix the wine sugar, and nutmeg together.
Divide between 4 to 6 tall glasses.
Add the whipped cream to each glass.
Leave in a cool place for several hours or overnight before serving.
Serves 4-6
