It contains information about local food suppliers who you can visit to buy produce directly from.
Many of them are farm shops or offer farm gate sales, whilst others prefer you to telephone or email before visiting.
Which means you can talk to some of the people who have grown, produced or prepared the food, which means not only that you will be buying fresher better food, but also be helping to support farmers and producers.
Regional Farmers' Markets
This section is regualarly up-dated and contains probably one of the most complete listings of farmers' markets anywhere on the internet.
Farmers' markets are always a good place to see a range of locally produced foods.
Often from the people who have grown or prepared the food and is a chance talk to them or to ask any questions.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the information is correct, cancellations and out of date information cannot be avoided.

Mail Order
This section contains links to companies which offer mail order (often on-line) for those who cannot use the visit local suppliers or farmers' markets or are overseas.
Overseas customers, please be aware that certain countries have restrictions as to what may be imported, often the supplier will be able to offer advice.
