Brandied Cider Sauce
285ml (½ pint) Cider
170g (6oz) Brown Sugar
3-4 tbsp Brandy
1-2 tbsp Cornflour or Arrowroot
1-2 tsp Butter
In a small saucepan, whisk together the cider, brown sugar, and cornflour (or arrowroot).
Bring to a boil, whisking constantly.
Simmer for 2 minutes or until the mixture is thickened, whisking constantly.
Stir in the brandy juice and butter.
Serve hot or cold
