Scottish Tablet
900g (2lb) Caster Sugar
85g (3oz) Water
50g (2oz) Margarine
2 tbsp Syrup
Small Tin Condensed Milk
½ tsp Vanilla
Place all of the ingredients into saucepan.
Heat gently until the sugar dissolves.
Stirring continuously until it comes to the boil.
Boil about 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and beat well and pour into greased tin.
Mark into squares when cool, cut when cold.
