Rum and Apple Stuffing

340g (12oz) Apples, peeled, cored and chopped
340g (12oz) Breadcrumbs
6 tbsp Rum
4-6 Sage Leaves, chopped
1 tbsp Mace
1 Egg, beaten

Place the breadcrumbs in a bowl, pour over the rum.
Allow to stand for 3-4 hours.
Add all of the other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Use to stuff poultry or form into balls and bake for 30-40 minutes.
